This presentation was made as part of the Unmasked Talk Series held by the IIID-Bangalore in collaboration with AceEdge – a digital learning platform for architecture and design students. Held during lockdown due to COVID19, this talk aimed to express how we need to fundamentally change the way we design cities today in the wake of the climate crisis. The talk starts with the irony of the pictures shared during lockdown of clean and green cities – looking more liveable when not in use!
Emphasizing the need for holistic thinking, the talk breaks down the ways in which we operate today and narrows down on the areas in which we need a quantum change in our thinking!
